Common questions

The microphone isn't working. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and turn on Dead Letters, then do the same under Speech Recognition. You can always tap the keyboard button and type your question instead.
I can't hear any sound. Check that your silent switch is off and your volume is up. Sound can also be turned off with the speaker button on the Dead Letters title screen.
How do I start over? Your progress is stored only on your device. Deleting and reinstalling the app resets all cases and achievements. This can't be undone.
What devices are supported? iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. The game is in English.
